Jurassic Park And Terminator 2. Thus began the never ending shit trend of western video game publishers marketing games like movies. Pushing more graphical fidelity and cinematics. Dont get me wrong I do enjoy beautiful prerendered backgrounds and sprites but the focus on "realistic" graphics over gameplay has been a detriment. Games will never be real and should have stopped trying to achieve realistic uncanny valley graphics. Primitive fantasy and sci-fi graphics will look much better because there is suspension of disbelief.

I miss when squaresoft made games with good artstyle. The real question is why was Boshi not in more games after Mario RPG. He was the coolest character with those sunglasses.

I was pretty impressionable as were most kids and I never forgot the part at 15:38. Because it was so fucked up and everything Kermit said was right. DARE just went kind of over the top.
