Is there still no way to dump Laseractive games? There's not even a Redump set.

Two things make emulators for a system rare or hard to make:

1. The system is genuinely complex and difficult to emulate
or
2. The system is very unpopular and few care

Nothing is stopping a system from being both (Atari Jaguar anyone?) but a lot of the time if it's #1 people everywhere will still be trying. For #2 there is a severe lack of interest so there are few with the skills and willingness to go through the effort bothering with it. #2 also usually results in lack of documentation and reverse engineering attempts on how the hardware works to use in creating an emulator.

I doubt that the reason there is a severe lack of emulation for things like the game.com, CD-I, Apple Pippin, or Pioneer Laseractive is because they are complex and difficult to emulate systems when we have emulators for the freaking PS3 and Switch right now that can play the majority of games in the system.

Pioneer Laseractive and 10 random LD games or movies.
Then I Use the laserdiscs as shiny yet deadly shurikens to kill the wardens and the laseractive heavy unit to induce blunt force troma on people in order to escape.
