I actually don't think Musashi Samurai Legend is all that bad, but I'm in the minority.

Most Square RPGs of the time were highly experimental and didn't even have random encounters. Well, except Final Fantasy I guess.

Neither this or the one I posted before have random encounters.

>Soul Calibur is on Dreamcast

My mistake I meant the original, Soul Blade.

Must own games the Playstation never got:

Panzer Dragoon ---> On PS2
House of the Dead ----> On PS2
Last Bronx ---> On PS2
Virtua Fighter 2 -----> On PS2
Sega Rally ----> On PS2

Those games are hardly "must own" too. Maybe VF2. This will be a pretty small list, anyway.

I'm searching for games similar to this one. Do you know any?

Is there a game you that you have some random memory of, even though the game in particular wasn't one of your all time favorites or anything? You know, some random feeling or a sense of a particular time and place?

I had strep throat when I played this, and for some reason the cozyness of the game made it all okay. I got to stay home and play this, and even though strep throat should have sucked, I ended up having a lot of fun.

I also vividly remember playing Resident Evil with my dad. He never really paid attention to video games, but he liked RE and we would take turns playing.
