If you're running a single set, sure, but there are some of us with multiple monitors, and having a switch that also acts as a distribution amplifier would be really nice.

Even more so since you can choose what is being sent to each output, meaning it's not just one console to 12 monitors, but any input to any output independent of all the others.

A 12 input, 4 output model would be sufficient for me, but I'll probably end up looking for a 12,8 just in case I end up getting more monitors/some sort of video capture setup.
