When I finally completed it a year or 2 ago I ran into that level without checking what it was, and as soon as the loading screen said "Kaboom!" I felt a chill go down my spine. His gibberish at the start along with the music is ingrained into my memory from when I was a kid.

No. I don't even know how it works but doesn't Sony own the game rights to Spidey, but Activision owns the games themselves since they made them? So you'd need Sony and Activision to work together, and give the whole debacle at the moment with the Microsoft buyout I don't think that will happen. I'd imagine there's some fuckery with Tobey, Willem etc.'s voices too. And I'm not sure how it works but even if they don't have to I'd say they'd have to play nice with Marvel too.

Honestly, Croc 2 was a bit fucked up thinking about some of the missions. Like the first area is fine, save a bird, free 1 Gobbo from a cage, find some treasure in a mine, get a stolen sandwich back and win a boat race, but then onwards

>Save a bunch of kidnapped babies that are literally being thrown around as toys
>Rescue Gobbos from a pyromaniac that's tied them to bombs
>Stop a train with Gobbos on board that's going to crash on an unfinished track
My favourite however was the "save the Gobbos stuck in the mountain from freezing to death" mission where this freaking song played
