Rented it as a kid in the 90s.

I think at the time it was like my 3rd RPG after playing Dragon Warrior 1 (Quest) on the original NES and Final Fantasy 1. I don't really count Zelda titles.

It was fun, the towns were comfy, the music was great, the characters had expressions.

Sure it was easy if you had a solid week to play it and compare it to everything we would get after over the next 30 years but at the time back in the 90s it was super fun

Don't listen to weirdos like ProJared and other Youtubers that are just looking to bash something because they know their soul broken audience need something the hate collectively

When LTTP came out it was amazing but everyone was trying to be more a RPG ala Dragon Quest or FF than LTTP

When OoT came out, EVERYONE was trying to be OoT

Both are amazing games and are pretty even in my minds but the industry saw something raw and different with OoT it seems
