Ah, I had a similar experience.
We got DBZ Ultimate Battle 22 (PS1) when DBZ was still in the early episodes of the Namek arc here in my country.
We used to call SSJ3 Goku "Bananas Goku".
Can't really remember how many times I watched that intro.

This sort of screen >>3722602 in which you could see all the characters' in-game sprites at the same time with their relative sizes and whatnot was the coolest.

UB22 was kind of shit, but had a awesome character roster.

>Kid Goku
>Muten Roshi
>Mr. Satan
>Great Saiyaman
>Tien
etc

It's also funny how this game came out in my country way before we knew what a "Super Saiyan" was (DBZ was just starting, Raditz saga was almost over).
It was Dragon Ball, but there were also all those new characters and somehow most of them were blond. You can imagine the hype when Goku first turned SSJ in Namek.
