My favourite HoMM 2 faction is Warlock. I used to exclusively play them as a kid, though my play style was basically "get sulfur mine and wait in castle until black dragons".

I know that feel. I'm trying to finish Archibald's and this map (scenario 8) is already too brutal for me.
