Just got a Neo Geo board for $15 and fixed it by adding a Unibios. From what I can tell the cheapest option is to assemble yourself a supergun and then you can use it to connect another arcade board if you get one. Get something like http://www.smallcab.net/smallcab-supergun-light-p-270.html?osCsid=hcf34itienqttqtcugp1mns3q4 (I'm open to suggestions for a better supergun around the same price) and either prowl ebay auctions for Neo Geo controllers or buy an adapter to connect other controllers (there are adapters for PS4, Genesis, SNES and probably more). And you could get a multicart but also some of the best games like Metal Slug 1, The Last Blade, Bust-A-Move and King of Fighters 97 can all be had for pretty cheap. And you're best off buying Neo games off Facebook trading groups, forums and eBay as a last resort because seller reputation is everything and repros are everywhere.

Try collecting Neo Geo carts & then tell me how bad the super nintendo situation is. Also like 50% of neo geo carts are bootlegs, so good luck with that.
