Was there a thread here yet about Sonic's first appearance? In a racing game - Rad Mobile in arcades. As well as the Saturn port of course, called Gale Racer. Dunno why they changed the name, dawg.

Anyway, my theory is that Sonic is the anthropomorphized/hedgehogified version of the fucking badass blue car in the game. Rock that shit, homey.
