ive still never played this series but i remember always thinking the animation was incredible and being very jealous of people who could play it. for some reason it was never on any of the 3 game neo-geo cabs i saw.

i always found it odd how scarce a lot of the powerups are. feels like the frog suit, hammer bros suit, and tanuki suit couldve been used in 1 or 2 more levels. oh and the shoe.
