Quake 2 got a bunch of forced meme shitting on it over the years, but it's actually a pretty solid shooter overall. I will not lie though, the remaster makes (mostly) worthwhile improvements, undoing some of the damage Tim Wallets originally did.

Wow, stop the goddamn presses. The iD guys were always pretty open about the influences that made Doom, Dungeon's & Dragons, Evil Dead 2, Aliens, etc, etc. Of all the influences that have been talked about by the devs, Warhammer 40.000 has never been one of them, ever.

Your maps are mostly ok, with a couple of good ones Sandy, Romero, and American generally were more creative and skilled, for either Quake or Doom maps.
