I suppose this is only tangentially retro, but it's a shame that Nightdive stopped doing native Linux ports. Their Linux version of Turok was fine, and I assume the rest were as well. But then Proton happened, and I guess they figured Linux ports were pointless after that... which would be reasonable if their Windows games actually worked perfectly with Proton, but not all of them do. (I ran Doom 64 with Proton yesterday and it stutters like hell. Apparently the fix is to replace one of the game's DLL files. I didn't need to fuck around with Turok to make it run correctly.)

I can blame Bethesda for Doom 64 and Quake Enhanced, because Bethesda obviously hates Linux, but that doesn't account for all of Nightdive's recent games.
