Not sure about that, the visual changes is enough to make me not want to play it. The music isn't actually bad, but it's just a downgrade compared to the original. So if you play it, the windows98 fan translation also comes with an optional PC-98 music patch, be sure to use it.

I actually wouldn't mind plot changes, the game deserves an update, as everyone that played the game points out the epilogue is the weakest part of the story, unfortunately both the writer and the composer died very young. This "remaster" is just a cashgrab.

What you're saying is absolutely right, there is no inherent problem with it, however there comes some situations where the sex just feels shoehorned in, to the detriment of the story and the characters' motivations. Luckily Yu-No tackles this issue very well and there's very few situations where it just feels forced down the player just as a reward system or to force an ending/closure. There are segments where you can't help but sigh at "oh, she craves your dick as well huh, well that's interesting" and you roll your eyes a bit, knowing full well that you're playing an eroge.
To be pretty clear though I'm not coming down on the eroge genre, this sort of shit has its place, but I just get the feeling that Yu-No would be a better game if its initial planning didn't involve making an eroge, and just making an adventure game that might have some sex scenes, instead of an eroge that forces to fuck every single female character that you talk to more than 5 minutes with.

I'm just being nitpicky though, it's a great game and I recommend everyone playing it, regardless of your feelings towards the genre.
