Well, as an all around mage she is and she comes in the game prety early, the other options you have are Patrick, but he's so so honestly, Friere/Frielei which is endgame only and Aldora which is NG+ material.
Also, there aren't any pure mages in MinSon unlike previous games so yeah, it's kind of silly to even talk about it.

Regarding Aisha, her only problem is that she starts really weak and her growth is kinda subpar compared to characters like Barbara, but she's all right, and due to how the game works similarly to the first SaGa trilogy and Frontier there's really no sense in making character Tiers like RomaSaGa 2 or 3, everyone can theoretically achieve everything depending on how long you want to grind, which is something I dislike, honestly.
