Really the trick is to have the tenacity to stick with this shit. I like keeping this on hand to show people my growth and where I started when I first actually started trying to do art. And I have some stuff older than this that was really bad.
I think anyone can do art stuff and make shit they're happy with with enough practice.

This could be your first steps towards learning a new skill though. That's how I was a few years back. Like just in 2019 this is a good example of my growth. It's not so bad if you're enjoying yourself, and making shit is pretty satisfying.

I'm a colorblind idiot and any ability I have now came from busting my ass and striving for self improvement.
I think anyone can git gud at art with enough practice, or at least "good enough" where they're above fugly programmer art.

I don't think I'm that good, but the skills I've learned over the years have come from practicing, failing, and trying again. I've also copied other art styles and tried to mimic them to get a feel for this shit. I've also had some friends to give me feedback and advice.
The greatest thing is persistence.
