Very autistic way to post, but I used to also think something like that, mostly due to being spoiled by SM64.
However, upon revisiting the game again in recent years, and after having played many other 3D platformers (retro and non-retro), I actually found BK to have some mechanical depth, it does have a lot of moves, way more depth than a majority of other 3D platformers.
Levels are also clever. Not the biggest fan of the amount of mini-games it has, but I ended up loving many of the levels, and Click Clock Woods is really impressive and memorable, both in atmosphere and in design.
It just doesn't have the dexterity of SM64's controls and physics, but it's still among the best 3D platformers.

I completed Banjo last year for the first time. I didn't like it much as a kid, but I came to appreciate it now.
