The first game I ever saw was Super Mario Bros. at around 5 and it blew my fucking mind. I literally thought the game contained hand drawn graphics for every possible combination of Mario and enemy positions and I wondered how it was even possible. It was because of Mario that I developed an obsession to understand how computers and programming worked. Thanks, Miyamoto-san.

Why do people care so much about consistent minor lag? You probably don't even actively notice it and your brain simply adjusts to counter it. It's really just a nitpick for nerds who spend more energy on the details of gaming rather than gaming itself. It's actually kinda sad.

Why didn't SMB have RNG elements? Wouldn't be difficult to implement and would have made it way harder with randomized enemy movement.
