Name a more aesthetic console. I'll wait.

Not as successful as the PC-Engine Super CD Rom, but it was moderately successful. I just hate seeing people associate it with the 32X and assume that all MD add-ons were failures.

Make no mistake: the 32X was a colossally bad idea. It wasn't even that impressive technology wise side, and it ended up competing against the Sega Saturn.

Which retro console do you feel had the most aethstically pleasing design to it?

I admit I've never owned one, but I've always felt the Genesis 1+Sega CD 1 combo always looked so robust and awesome.

Nope. The Model 1 CD was definitely designed with the Model 1 Genesis in mind.

Plus, the Power Base Converter doesn't even work with the Model 2 Genesis.

The 32x kind of looks better on the Model 2, but it actually fits better on the Model 1.

What sort of speakers should I buy to get the same godlike soundmix I get from headphones on my Model 1 Sega Genesis.

I just spent like half an hour messing around with the sound test in Mega Turrican. Sounds so good.

The Model 1 stack is quite possibly the most beautiful of all retro consoles - but their performance are equally unreliable.

Same question as OP, except for Sega CD. I recently eBay'd it, and I'm digging the non-FMV games so far.

So whenever I see the Sega CD brought up I always see the following events occur

Well, this is a serious question. What games other than the FMV games are on there? I know Sonic CD (which is my favorite Sonic game) but what other good non-FMV titles are on there? Anything ya got, let me hear about it I really want to learn about it but anytime it's mentioned all I see is FMV bashing.

Also I am apart of the group of people that when they see a model 1 CD/Mega Drive combo their dick instantly gets rock hard. Seriously the GOAT of console looks.

Come on you can't hate this. Look at it, it's so large and in charge, rad as fuck. I love the model 1 genesis with the CD.
