All the art is good, but the designs are often way too principally abstract.

I mean, look at Balamb Garden for example. What are we looking at here? I don't even know where to begin. The fact that the building has a halo? The fins? The totally out of place graffiti?

And I get that in this specific case some of the features are meant to make sense in the framework that Balamb Garden Is an Airship, but come on. And that in and of itself is just so hopelessly abstruse.
