Before anyone says anything, allow me to explain myself.

As a child, I simply couldn't figure out how to get to Bow's Mansion. It wasn't because I had a hard time understand the game itself or anything, but that at one point, there's a split path. One leads you to a dead end to a beehive, the other advances you through the story. Needless to say, because I went into the one with the beehive, and it was the one that pointed back to where I came, I simply could not figure out where to go. I even bought a guide, which simply said "note" the bee hive, not even helping me figure out what my problem was.

This made me stop playing for about 2 or 3 years before I came back to it, dicked around, and realized the "true path" way. Why my younger self never figured this out, I don't know. Still, the amount of satisfaction I got from discovering this alone made me continue playing, and thank goodness too, because I loved the rest of the game.
