if a game itself was good, but started a bunch of negative gaming trends, would it be considered a good game or a bad game?

The most soulful 3D GTA and the closest to the previous games:
-Less licensed music compared to the future entries. Previous GTA soundtracks were mostly independent/in-house.
-Day/night cycle inspired by the noon/dusk options in GTA2 PC.
-Retains the chaotic, over-the-top mission style found in GTA2.
-Features an optional bird's eye view camera angle of the classics (this is not carried over in any future 3D games).
-No in-game map. You had to rely on the map that came in the case just like the previous games.
