I finally got into this game /vr/os and I have to say, this game has a lot of cool ideas but holy shit did they fuck it up. The companions are ass. I thought all of those meme vids were just jokes but holy shit is it actually worse. The Daikatana sucks because it puts you in danger, makes you waste 5 levels, the swings "get faster" but actually don't and a lot of enemies parry it. The level design (besides E1), weapons, and Level mechanic are cool but those they get over shadowed by those two flaws. Turns a 7 into a 4.

Daikatana is an expert level FPS. It's designed to be for experts, even at the lowest difficulties. The problem is you have far too many people who played and reviewed it who really had no business playing it with their skill level. It is in no way a bad game, just completely misunderstood.
