So, has anyone else played any of the Phantasy Star Text Adventures games? Thoughts?

I found what seem to be some pretty decent translations and played through Nei's game last night. It was alright, and though it suffered a bit from typical problems text adventures have (you need <item> before <event> happens, no indication that this is the case, no hints on where to go), overall it was pretty enjoyable.

Nei's was pretty depressing (not much of a surprise), but I'm hoping at least some of the rest are a little more cheerful.
