I cannot stand realistic graphics. I prefer my game experiences to be surreal. While early 3D games definitely tried to mimic reality they failed and as a result they nail that surreal "somethings not quite right/off" feel, thus giving them their own unique art style and I'm fine with them. We've hit the point where it's hard to discern a real photo from graphics, it's a time that I used to fantasize about as a kid but now that we have achieved that it's just so incredibly boring to me.
