Enough "REEEEEing" about what is or isn't retro, can we talk about how much of an absolute joke this port is
>Physics are wack due to being on the Sonic Advance 1 engine, which isn't designed to handle this game
>You can jump on top of the Green Hill boss and just bounce on him
>Music is a joke
>Main selling points (aside from portable Sonic 1) are a save feature, a zone select (which was already in Sonic 1) and a feature taken from Sonic Jam
> Sega previously ported Smash Pack, which was competent in most regards (at least, compared to this)
>Somebody outright made a homebrew port to show that this didn't need to be as bad as it ended up being. Sega would approach him, among other notable hacking/fan people, to work on the Sonic CD port
It cannot be stressed how much of a failure this port is.
