DQVII has made me realize something about Chrono Trigger... Every time Crono and his friends travel to the future, their parents spend their whole lives without seeing them again and die of old age without knowing what the hell happened to them. That's really sad.

You can easily go back to the present as if nothing happened and change the story, but you still ruined their entire lives several times. Just because you wanted to visit that crappy apocalyptic world again to do a stupid side quest. What the fuck.
