I have an HD CRT which unfortunately doesn't do scanlines, so I just let it sit idle as I haven't found an use to it. It's a 34" and it has a built in sub, and let me tell you, the sound on this thing is fucking amazing. It really doesn't need any sort of external speakers. If i manage to find a scanline generator or something of the sort, I'd use it as my main retro tv.

/vr/, I'm about to get one of these babies next week.

What would you recommend me do as soon as i get it? Calibration wise and whatnot, I don't know shit about it.

Also, it supports 720p and 1080i. What does that mean as far as /vr/ goes? Does it mean I can play with progressive scan on? I have a 29' Trinitron that doubles the image on PS2 games whenever I activate it.
