BGB / WLA-dx worked wonderfully for my purposes, if you have a generated disasm, you should be able to rebuild it with WLA with a readable symbol file adding comments along the way

build it with WLA-DX, export labels, and start labelin homie. i was using BGB; there is probably something better and more modern, but BGB does the job.

RGBDS? i'm pretty to new to it but i've been liking it. the integrated symbol support in BGB is wonderful.
that's some clean macro usage ya got there. anyway, i'm sure you'll figure out something awesome to do with that engine of yours
