It sounds like you don't enjoy arcade-style games, OP. These games are about a slow mastery requiring a close familiarization with the game and its mechanics, a focus on crowd control, and personal improvement. The co-op element also makes them excellent for multiplayer.

You mean prancin' punchers, OP? Overall, probably Bare Knuckle 2, but I'm always looking for new stuff. I found Night Slashers thanks to some anon on this board and I'd like to pass that recommendation along. It controls well, has ridiculous horror enemies, and the JP version is full of over-the-top cartoony gore while not being too terribly difficult for an arcade game.

After some practice I made it to the fourth level bossfight on one credit in Night Slashers using Hong. The rest of the game doesn't seem too bad if taken very slowly.
