Man I had forgotten how much of an improvement the architecture was, shadows are softer and I'm not seeing some of the crimes against texturing the original game had, though the rough look on everything had its own particular charm

And there it was the bullshit switch to get the final share of gems to complete the goal on expert, just as I remembered from the first time around.
Oh man what is this one going to have in store for me? I gave up on expert with Thief 1 because of the escape mission, I just wanted to bunnyhop the fuck outta there, fucking grasshopper men.
