>1. Majora's Mask
From the atmosphere, to the plot, to the intricate use of time as well as masks, Majora's Mask is a Zelda that arguably transcends even a series as illustrious as Zelda.
>2. Breath of the Wild
No 3D Zelda approaches the embrace of freedom and attempt to honor the very roots of the series the same way Breath of the Wild does. I know some people knock certain elements, and it does have it's flaws, but it also weaves it's landscape and gameplay philosophy incredibly well. The aspects of what made it an incredible game are probably easier for the rest of the industry to digest and understand, unlike Majora's Mask, but like the number one spot Breath of the Wild is also a whole greater than the sum of its parts
>Wind Waker
Wind Waker represents to me a much more simplified and less series-convention breaking version of Breath of the Wild (or more accurately Breath of the Wild was an advancement of many of the ideas in Wind Waker). Flawed and with hints of being Incomplete in some aspects, none the less it's an incredibly beautiful world and there is a real sense of player freedom and exploration. The combat is also fun as fuck
>Ocarina of Time
A game that might be more important and influential than any on this list. One outstanding aspect of it is although it's basically been ripped off by the entire industry for twenty years, it stuck the landing on elements like pacing, dungeon design, and world building so we'll that it still is engaging to return to. In terms of content the game feels like it has just the perfect amount. Not meaning to rank it low out of disrespet.
