Name a single legitimate flaw. You cannot.

Name a single flaw with the original Japanese version of this game. All of this game's "problems" come from the poor English translation, and the NES controller's lack of a microphone.

Why was the English translation so poor? It makes the game needlessly difficult.

If the translation wasn't so horribly botched and you played it with the original map/manual, this would be the single best game on the NES. The "burn every bush and bomb every wall" claim literally would not exist if the game had a proper translation. The original japanese text details everything, while still remaining mysterious. Even the Level 7 hint is much clearer in the original game. The English version is awful, and leads to hints being either completely false or cryptic as fuck. A proper translation would solve literally every problem with this game. Prove me wrong.
