I would say so. It could potentially be decent for playing on a desk, but not for extended periods of time. The optimal beginner size is definitely 13". If you can sit pretty close to your set or play on a desk, it should not be bad at all. What's your location?

Pic related, my secondary /vr/ setup on my computer desk. When I don't wanna go sit at my main /vr/ rig, this works perfectly.

Well he just said it has Component, which implies it has RGB through the same connectors.

Don't think it was pic related, check file name.

Yeah, it doesn't have Component. Also those are one input and one output, not two hookups. The jump from 8" to 14" is great, considering you get scanlines if you're interested. Definitely is a hell of a lot more playable, and that's not too bad a price. I would say get it, and stay on the lookout for a RGB/Component model and sell off the N5U when you find it.

Pic related, my setup. 14 inches is fantastic at a desk. Directly to the left is my computer.

Agreed with Kya, just picked up a 1344Q the other day and it works amazingly for my desk setup. Perfect for close quarters gaming.
