OP here, thanks for all your help. Yesterday I got pic related on a flea market for just 5€, it usually goes for around 40€ where I live, so pretty good deal. Haven't tested it yet, because I don't have foreign games. The same guy also sold action replay and action replay pro universal adapters.

So games will run with this adapter, but in PAL speed? If so, it likely wouldn't bother me at all, I'm used to PAL speed anyways...
