Minimum wage in my country is $7.25USD an hour. Fortunately my local municipality has it set higher, but even at my nationally recognized staple of the community employer does not even pay near $15USD for an hour right now. That's not even counting the cost of living expenses such as housing, utilities, food, etc. has increased in price plus taxes are deducted prior to any remainder being dispersed onto the worker; in addition, any purchase made is taxed again. So even at $15 in my country for one day's work is nowhere near enough for a frivolous $100 expenditure.

Oct.1 is objectively the best date to set for the prospect of winning more festivals. I think there was also a few dates to set such that the game ends earlier or later (by a year, such that it ends with her age at 17/18/19 or so), I cannot remember what it was. Sometimes I would choose other dates for different challenges since the starting stats change.

I stumbled onto that ending on accident. Having multiple saves and played through the game many times back then allowed for experimentation. Did not need any FAQs/guides, so I can attest that just naturally playing through the game one can stumble onto all sorts of ending variations.

I think of speaking, listening, reading, and writing as different diciplines. Even in my native tongue I have trouble speaking in formulating my own sentences. As for Japanese, speaking to my peers is a bit more simple, but to guests, elders, and disliked persons are a bit more of a challenge.

Not really, I was hoping feeding 720p content to it would simply integer scale up, but it still blurs everything, even though logically it should just have 4 pixels for every 1. I really miss CRT monitors where I can choose any resolution and it looks great.

Inspired by the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot too, right? I prefer 2 the most, probably because I spent the most time with it as it was a staple of the DOS machines I had access to. In 2, I tend to set the daughter's birthday after the festival, so she has almost a year to prepare for her first one and win.

Nice to read about other fans of the series. It was a series big in its time and set a lot of trends. Sega did advertise a lot in the commercial breaks between, and that is how I learned of Sakura Taisen. Sadly as excited as I was for those games, they were okay at best, but more surprisingly Sega did not advertise their Eva games on Saturn during the show run. These days, there are more Eva games on non-/vr/ systems and I have no idea of anything past the original series.

I think there were only like 5-6 cosplayers that pulled off the Ayanami Rei look well. Many more can achieve Asuka. Haven't seen a Mana, and there seems to be a few new pilots, but I have not watched the series after 96.

I hope to get the results of your findings. My memories of the music came from I think a SoundBlaster 16's OPL music, but I really want to get a MT-32. As the MT-32 was the choice for Japanese game music, it is high on my wishlist, but they have gotten really hard for me to get now that they have broken the 3 digit mark for prices. If an actual MPU-401 is needed, then that just means I am much further away from completing both my 486DX4-100 and J-Win98SE machines. I got a Virba16, AWE32, and Audigy ZX2 for those computers, but I don't think they can match the sound of my memories of the game. Princess Maker 2 is that important to both builds, as it is one of the main reasons to have started them.

Don't die thread, this is one of the main games I am building a J-Win98 machine for, or wanting a sweet soundblaster and MT-32 for DOS on my 486DX4.

Sorry, I realize I am the only one bumping this thread because no one else plays these kinds of games. It is an uncommon opportunity for me to talk about this game type. You have to imagine a world of constant Doom clones where everyone prefers to take their guns and shoot at every target they can. I enjoy those too but, Doom/Quake/Unreal threads are everywhere and this one has something unique to me.

Anyway, I will stop now, my laundry is done and I got to get to ironing before my shift begins. Playing videogames and 4chan posting are my only joys left from my monotonous days of flipping burgers on an anthill and killing said ants.
