>What is Retro Consoles Wiki?
It's a wiki for aggregating information related to mods and repairs for all consoles (including modern) and retro gaming computers. This includes technical info related to hardware and programming along with hi-res pictures of components.

>What's needed?
We need everything: hardware pics, technical details, and guides of all types. Take a look around and see if you can fill in some of the gaps.

>I'm not very technical. How can I help?
You can help us a lot even if you don't know much about doing mods and repairs yourself. You can add general information to the company and console pages, create stubs, add photos, and add links to useful info.

>Where's the guide to repair/mod X?
There probably isn't one yet, however one of the contributors may know something about it. Let us know what you're looking for and maybe a page will get made as a result.

None of the current contributors seem to know much about older computers, but they have a place on the site.

Basically any kind of electronic game: handhelds, arcade machines, or even those simple Tiger handheld games. If you think it belongs, it probably does.

On the topic of taking photos of system boards, I took this pic of a 3DO FZ-10's motherboard with a desk lamp, an ipad, some printer paper, and a stack of books. It's not perfect, but most of the text is legible, and that's all I'm really looking for.
