Okay so first off, please disregard my poor artistic ability, it's just a mockup. Once I get some proper coloration on the various bars to visually distinguish them, it'll be clearer. But shapewise and layout, this is how I ultimately picture it.

The extra icons next to the powered sword and wand icons are to indicate when the player has enough energy to use the primary and secondary on the powered sword, and to show the player has enough energy for the secondary for the staff's altfire.

Also I'm not pleased with the powered sword's altfire, I'm going to retool it to make work like a classic DnD cleave attack, which essentially means it's going to be a melee based, smaller scale BFG.
