Something ya gotta understand is that KSSU and KRtDL are some of the few Kirby games to release in North America before Japan (KDL3 too, by nearly half a year strangely, though virtually no localization besides manual, and recent games like KPR and KSA have multiple built-in localizations due to Nintendo's recent goal of releasing multiple regions simultaneously). So the translations are being understandaby rushed to meet deadlines. It's bound to be asking for more mistakes and quirks in them than in games that took their time with the translation. So unless Nintendo decides to go back to the region-locked days where English releases sometimes took months or even years to release outside Japan, I'm afraid the golden window has shut and this will be an indefinite struggle. Behold the monkey's paw I suppose.
