You can add your definition with the at least 5 other definitions of "millennial". The magazine and news outlets are constantly changing it also. NY times changes from around 1980 to 95-early 2000s depending on the article you read. Forbes changes from around 1980 also bu the cut was all the way to 2004. Now they say 1982 to 94. The wiki has been fairly static with a range of 1980 to mid 2000s.

It's all over. It's retarded. It ignores major events like 911, the rise of the internet, and 80s talk shows. The name itself is retarded since you would think "Millennial" meant people born at that time. The funny thing is we're going from extending millennials as far into the 2000s as possible to now chopping it in the mid 90s to make the gen Z group seem larger. I suspect for marketers.
