If this unit is anything to go by, later color watchmans have a composite video and mono audio rca input like this one.

My older mega watchman FD-500 only has a 3.5 mm minijack external antenna input that can be used with a F-type coaxial to 3.5mm adapter for use with an RF modulator. And someone told me that you can mod the unit for composite input, which I'm still on the fence for doing. Older (especially handheld with 1"-2" screen) watchmans might lack even the ext ant input and might require jury rigging the coaxial cable directly to the antenna, though I'm not sure how well this works.

Short of actually connecting a DVD player with anime to the unit I chose to look at a Saturn game's animated FMV. Due to size and let's face it, PVM this is not and accuracy the compression artifacting that plagues Saturn videos is lessened.

Well, as far as I'm concerned you can do no wrong looking out for later models of the Mega Watchman or the Color Watchman. I had a chance to get another old panasonic B/W portable TV, but there was no power adapter to test it.
