Pretty sure the Matsui can't even be calibrated since the OSD is very very limited and afaik there's no service menu or suitable pots on the inside either.
The Philips on the other hand is good enough for me. Though it is a fully analog device so I could calibrate if necessary.
It doesn't bother me too much. Just figured it was interesting how big the difference was. I noticed it almost immediately in games since greys are almost completely different between the two.
