Today, I watch replays on YouTube and am amazed how good some people are at video games... like the Replay Burner playthroughs of Final Fight, such a basic game with tiny moveset, but those guys figured out all these strategies like they developed their own Final Fight Fu with backward jumping down attacks, combo resets, using weapon pickup to duck Sodom's rush etc. that make me realize how pedestrian my way of playing FF was. Back in the day, I just read the marquee and used the Combo into back throw a lot. Also a chibi Final Fight comic strip with hints made the rounds of UK gaming magazines at the time, that's how I knew to stand "above" or "below" Sodom when he got up after a knockdown and was invulnerable and preparing to rush you.

Last year, I played Final Fight 2 over and over and realized the advantage of NOT breaking the barrels, but using them as turnbuckles and back protection to troll the AI, trying to find strategies like that for very simple games... it's comfy.
