anyone here has any experience emulating on the PSP?
I wanted to play Lords of thunder, great game, I tried retroarch since it apparently had PC Engine CD emulation but It didnt work, so that option was scrapped
then I find out there is a PSN release for the PSP, I get it from nicoblog and it works like a charm, keep in mind that I have pro cfw (6.61), after Im done with it some time later I delete it to make some space

so now I want to replay it, and for some reason after creating a new save the thing just crashes and shows me a black screen, pressing the home button and selecting to close the game just freezes my PSP, has thins happened to any of you before?
I didnt update the firmware, and I put the ISO and the other file in their respective places so I have no idea why this shit isnt working, I deleted the save and tried again to no avail
I guess I will just replay this in mednafen, but having it on the go was great, I could emulate the sega CD version but that one is too easy in comparison

Are there SHMUPs out there which allow you to perform melee attacks alongside firing ranged weapons? Lords of Thunder is one of the few I know of, and I suppose Radiant Silvergun also kind of counts.
