Is there even one NES game that doesn't sound like garbage?

Zelda, Mario and Castlevania all sound like something an elecronic doorbell would produce and it disgusts me and makes the console unplayable.

How can anyone say this console was good? out of the 800 games maybe 100 at best were any decent (I'm being generous though i'd say maybe 20-40 at best.) and the SNES pretty much improved on every single aspect of the NES including it's flagship titles like Mario and Zelda. Is the only people who like this console are normies who wear "OLD SKOOL" t-shirts with an NES controller? people critisize the N64's small library but the N64 has way better and more quality games(even if a lot of them are first party) compared to the NES, the NES had as much shovelwear as the wii!

What are some NES games that pushed the limits of the hardware and did things that are considered impressive or unexpected?

Honest question, what reason is there to own an NES anymore?

Excluding the obvious Nintendo classics and the occasional konami/namco/capcom properties everyone loves, Almost every single one of those has been updated, remastered, ported, or compiled in some form of compilation.

Ultimate NES remix has every worthwhile Nintendo NES game, Mega man has the Legacy collections, Castlevania has the chronicles games, and other compilations, Metal gear is included in the legacy collections on PS3. And every single namco arcade classic has been compiled in some form of namco museum or some other. Hell even Midway and atari have classic compilations, so even their NES ports are out.

Honestly asking here, I'm scraping the barrel trying to find reasons for owning this ancient relic anymore. SMB3? I can just play the SNES all-stars version, or hell, the GBA port, or the wii port OF all-stars. Even fucking metroid is on the GBA.

I like the NES the best. Super Famicom/PAL SNES is also good.

Where can I find the most accurate information on release dates for NES games?

According to TMR (The Mexican Runner) who beat every licensed NTSC/PAL NES game these were the hardest games for him (In no particular order):

So my nes has been showing a blue screen on all but a few games and I decided to replace it with a 72 pin connector. Problem is, it didn't change a thing. What should I try?

Playing through the NES library is a fucking death march.

Why are modern tvs such bastards to get working with the NES?

Where can I go to get my box NES refurbished for a reasonable price? It works fine, but I've had a few small technical hiccups (games will sometimes not work properly when pushed down or have really small graphical flares) and the console could be a bit more clean on the exterior. I just want it to be like new again, though I don't imagine it taking THAT much effort since it still works overall pretty well.

I mean, if an NES stuck in a barn for over 25 years can look like new, I'm sure mine can.
