I'm going to play some DOOM II co-op with two friends this Christmas, but i'm not very well versed in the essential/best/greatest WADs, so - which WADs are a must play? What are your favourites and why? I've only played Alien Vendetta, Suspended in Dusk and Scythe, and they're only familiar with the IWADs.

One of the only nightmares I ever had I was stuck in a weird maze that looked like Doom graphics (it was even pixelated) and there was just crazy laughter everywhere.

And I thought Plasma marines were bullshit.
Finished scythe2.wad. 4/5, this fucker has the worse of the mancubii, revenants, cybers and cacos together multiplied by 2.
