And 1999 was there from the very beginning anon
The only questions were which pre-1999 consoles were retro and which were not
With a new generation arriving on /v/ the rules of /vr/ were altered to accept all consoles from the agreed timeframe instead of endless discussion of what is and what is not retro inside the same time period
We don't want your 2010's PS2 games here
We don't want your ultrabright cropped GBA soulless pixel art imitations of good retro games
We don't want PC microtransactions here
We don't want Guitar Hero crap
We don't want 7th gen toddlers to start a new cycle of autism and whining
We don't want every single shitposter on /v/ to eventually come to /vr/ to discuss what gachashit they grew up with
We don't want to have to explain it to you kids every fucking day with these bullshit spam threads created with the sole intention of being derailed
It's not going to change and I'm appaled at the idea of adults spending 6 years of their lives holding onto that tiny sliver of hope that someday the 2007 games they grew up with will be accepted here with open arms and be tolerated to kill some NES threads so two autists that care have a place to spam their Guitar Hero or some other bullshit
