This game is fucking awesome, everywhere I go I want to explore and talk to everyone where in a lot of RPG games I just want to get shit done. The atmosphere this game creates is unlike any other game I've ever played. I'm glad I started with this over Elemental Gearbolt (which I'll get to later)

>substantially drunk off gin & tonics
>leaving the town of cross to head east for the cave
>so drunk that I go west instead
>wander up a canyon
>end up getting wrecked (almost 1 hit) by girls
>last save was before fighting the mayors kid >mfw
>picking up some beer after work to grind this out

What's the use for portraits? I have a portrait of Rena that is worth 1600 that I don't want to sell because she's cute but idk if they have any purpose to them even.

What's the best way to do combat? Better yet how do I switch between characters in combat? should I avoid spamming the shoulders and just use x?
