I create a curated folder for anything I actually want to play and this is what I copy to all my handheld devices, use to create a library in Retroarch, etc.
The exception for me is anything after 4th gen for disc based consoles, too much shovelware at that point for me to justify downloading TBs of PS1 and PS2 games.
daily reminder for any anons who are still downloading ROMs from places like archive.org - use a download manager like pyload. You'll get faster download speeds and you can just create a list of every file you want to download and queue them all up.
