Peak Final Fantasy.

I read recently somewhere that originally Square had planned to remake FFIII for the PS2 but Sony stopped it for some reason. How I wish we'd gotten a FFIII using the high-res characters rather than the low poly chibis that we wound up with on the comparatively gimped DS. Those few seconds of the opening cinematic is all there is.
